Snowy Scenes 4 piece Christmas Card

Project Recipe:

1. Card Base: Cut Garden Green 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

   Card Mat: Cut Poppy Parade paper 4 X 5 ¼.

   Card Front: Cut two pieces of print paper 1 ⅞ X 3 ½ and two pieces of print paper 1 ⅞ X 1 1/2. I used prints from Snowy Scenes, but you could use any print. Using the photo as a guide, attach the four print papers to the Poppy Parade card front. Emboss the Poppy Parade with print papers attached with the Dashing Designs embossing folder. Attach the embossed card front to the Garden Green card base.

   Use the Christmas Label dies to cut a white label. Stamp sentiment from Christmas Labels with Poppy Parade ink on the white label. Cut 4 pieces of 5” long pieces of Garden Green Natural Tones Linen. Attach the linen pieces to the back of the white label with tear & tape. I centered the linen before attaching it to the back of the label. Use the end of your snips or Take Your Pick tool to open up the linen strands. Attach the label (with linen strands) to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Trim the linen strands to desired length. Add 3 Garden Green Earth Tone Shimmer Gems to the card front.

2. Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment From Christmas Labels with Poppy Parade ink before attaching this piece inside your card.

3. Envelope Flap: Cut print paper 2 ¼ X 6. Glue the print paper to the envelope flap and trim using the flap as a guide.
