Summer Splash Fun Fold Birthday Card

Project Recipe:

1. Card Base: Cut Summer Splash 8 ½ X 11 paper in half lengthwise. You now have two pieces 4 1/4 X 11. Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½. From the edge of the card base, cut 3”.

   Card Mat: Cut Basic White 2 ¼ X 4 and 2 ¾ X 4.

   Card Front: Choose 2 prints from Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper. Cut the smaller Summer Splash print 2 ⅛ X 3 ⅞. Attach this print paper to the 2 ¼ X 4 white card mat. Cut the Summer Splash and Petunia Pop floral print 2 ⅝ X 3 ⅞. Attach this print to the 2 ¾ X 4 white mat.

   Attach the smaller Summer Splash matted print to the card front.

   Attach the Summer Splash and Petunia Pop matted print to the piece of card front you cut from the card base. Attach this piece horizontally to the card front. See picture for reference.

   Use dies from Unbounded Love to cut labels from Petunia Pop and the smaller insert label from Basic White. Stamp Happy Birthday from Unbounded Love with Petunia Pop on the white label. Attach the stamped white label to the Petunia Pop label.

2. Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp sentiment from Unbounded Love with Summer Splash ink and attach this piece inside your card.

3. Attach the stamped/matted label to the card front. Attach 3 Summer Splash Resin Dots to the card front. I put one on the label and two in the upper corner of the card insert.

4. Envelope Flap: Cut print paper 2 ¼ X 6. Glue the print paper to the envelope flap and trim using the flap as a guide.
