U sing a die shape from Nested Essentials die set is a way to use multiple prints on your card front.
Card Base: Cut Basic Black 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Basic Black paper 4 X 5 ¼.
Card Front: I used the 2nd smallest die of the longest die shapes in the Nested Essential Die set. I used 3 prints, 2 of each print die cut pieces. Begin by attaching one print in the center of the Basic Black card mat. Attach prints on either side, leaving as much black mat showing as you prefer.
Turn the mat over and trim pieces using the mat as your guide. Save the pieces you cut off, you will use them in the next step.
Attach the remaining pieces to fill in gaps on your card mat. Trim using the edge of the card mat as your guide.
Attach the mat to the card front. Die cut the smallest narrow banner in the Stylish Shapes Die set from Basic White. Stamp sentiment with Poppy Parade. Die cut the smallest wide banner in the Stylish Shapes Die set from Basic Black, Attach stamped white banner to the black banner. Attach both banners to card front with mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 5 ¼. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
Envelope Flap: Cut print paper 2 ¼ X 6. Glue the print paper to the envelope flap and trim using the flap as a guide.
One side of the Merry Bold and Bright paper is Christmas prints, the other side is circles and stripes. This birthday card is made from the circle & stripe side of the paper.
