Boughs of Holly double embossed card front

Project Recipe:

1. Card Base: Cut Real Red 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

2. Card Mat: Cut Mossy Meadow paper 4 X 5 ¼. Die cut the larger open leaf using die from Holly Berry Dies. Cut Distressed Gold paper 3 X 4 ¼. Die cut the smaller open leaf using die from Holly Berry Dies.

3. Card Front: Cut poinsettia paper from the Boughs of Holly paper pack 3 ⅞ X 5 ⅛. Attach the card front to the Mossy Meadow mat and emboss with the Gingham embossing folder. Attach the embossed piece to the card base.

   Cut Basic White 2 ¾ X 4 and emboss with the Wintry embossing folder. Attach the embossed basic white piece to the Distressed gold mat. Attach the embossed matted piece to the center of the card front.

4. Use Real Red and Soft Suede Blends to color a Textural Element. Once the color is dry, apply Wink of Stella to red berries.

5. Attach the die green leaf and gold leaf to the embossed white piece on the card front. Cut 4” of gold & vanilla ribbon and tie on to the top of the colored Textural Element. Attach the Textural Element over the leaves on the embossed white card front.

   Add 3 gold festive pearls to the card front.

   Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4 (5 ¼). Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
