Kite Delight Birthday Card
T his is a fun Birthday card. I paired the Kite Delight stamp set with a kite print paper from Design A Daydream paper pack.
Cut Daffodil Delight 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Cut Pacific Point paper 4 X 5 ¼.
Cut Kite print paper from Design A Daydream pack 3 ⅞ X 5 ⅛. Attach this print paper to the Pacific Point card mat. Attach these to the Daffodil Delight card base.
Use the 4th largest die in Deckled Rectangle Dies to cut Deckled rectangle from Basic White card stock. Stamp sentiment from Kite Delight with Basic Gray ink at the lower edge of the Deckled rectangle. Stamp the kite strings with Basic Gray ink above the sentiment. Attach the stamped Deckled rectangle to the kite print paper on the card,
Stamp a kite with Basic Gray ink on a scrap of Pacific Point paper. Cut out the kite. Attach the kite over the kit strings with Dimensionals. Attach 3 Daffodil Delight Glossy Dots to the stamped Deckle Rectangle.
For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a strip of kite print paper ¼ X 4, attach this print paper ¼ from top of card insert. Stamp sentiment from Kite Delight and attach this piece inside your card.
