![]() |
T his card can be made in your favorite color. The white die cut works with any color and adds so much interest to your card front.
This card is made from Coastal Cabana, you could make the same card in your favorite color. Read to the end of the instructions to see some of the other colors I used.
Card Base: Cut Coastal Cabana 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Coastal Cabana paper 4 X 5 ¼.
Card Front: Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 ¼, attach adhesive sheet to the back of this piece of Basic White card front. Use the large die in the Detailed Dahlias Die set to cut out the card front. Remove backing from back of adhesive on back of cut out. Attach cut out to card front. Attach card front to card base.
Stamp sentiment from Dahlia Days stamps set with Basic Gray ink on Basic White card stock. (Note: I used Basic Gray ink because I was making this card in a variety of colors and Basic Graty is the perfect neutral to use with a variety of colors.). Punch out the stamped sentiment with the smaller oval in the double oval punch. Punch out the scallop oval from Coastal Cabana with the double oval punch. Attach the punch white oval to the scallop oval with dimensionals.
Attach sentiment scallops to the card front. Add three iridescent rhinestones to the card front.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
Stamp the large Dahlia image from the Dahlia Days stamp set with Basic Gray on your envelope.
