Paper Pumpkin Alternate #3 |

T he May 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit included 4 of the 5 new in colors. It is a bright, colorful kit. This card uses 1 of the new in colors, Magenta Madness. It is a shaker card.

Cut 8 1/2 X 11 Magenta Madness paper in half lengthwise. You now have two pieces which measure 5 1/2 X 8 1/2. Fold one of the pieces in half for your card front, which now measures 4 1/4 X 5 1/2.
Cut mat from whisper white 4 X 5 1/4.
Attach white mat to card front.Cut striped piece 3 7/8 X 5 1/8.
Use the largest 3 stars in the Stitched Stars dies. Use the middle star to cut a star from the upper center of the striped piece.

Die cut the Largest star with 3rd largest star from Magenta Madness (see picture) to make star outline.
Cut two pieces of window sheet 3 3/4 X 3 3/4.
Attach 1 piece of window sheet to back of striped card front, covering the star cutout.
Use foam strips to outline close to to the star shape (making sure the foam strips do not show through the star opening). You will need more than one foam strip to get completely around the star.
Fill this star with sequins, I used sequins from a past Paper Pumpkin kit. Pull strips from foam strip so strips are adhesive. Attach the second window sheet on top of star.
Place one more strip of foam adhesive to back of card along the bottom so that card front lies flat on white mat.
Put adhesive on back of window sheet. Remove strip from foam at base of card front. Attach striped card front to White card mat.
Attach Magenta star outline over window cutout.
Stamp sentiment with stamp from kit on banner piece provided in the kit. Attach this stamped banner at base of card front.
Tie bow with Magenta twine, attach with glue dot to stamped banner.
Attach Magenta puffy sticker to stamped banner.
