U nder the Mistletoe is a Christmas paper pack in the new annual catalog. I think this is my favorite paper in the whole pack. When the paper has this much going on, you don't need a lot of other elements on your card.

Project Recipe:

Card Base: Cut 8 ½ X 11 Real Red paper in half lengthwise. You now have two pieces 4 ¼ X 11. Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Shaded Spruce paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut Under the Mistletoe paper
3 7/8 X 5 1/8Adhere Mistletoe paper to Shaded Spruce mat

Stamp Merry Christmas with Shaded Spruce ink on Whisper White paper, cut with oval framelit. Cut Shaded Spruce scalloped oval with framelit.
Adhere white oval to Shaded Spruce scalloped oval.

Cut 2 pieces of ribbon
one 5" piece
one 3" pieceNear left end of 5" ribbon, tie 3" piece in knot over the 5" ribbon. To keep this narrow ribbon in place, I placed ribbon on card front and adhered the sentiment ovals to card front over the ribbon. This kept ribbon in place as I adhered ribbon ends to back of card. (see picture). Trim 3" ribbon ends to fit your card.
