Softly Stippled Thank You card
Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper has prints that are easy to mix and match. You could make this card using a variety of prints from this paper pack.
Card Base: Cut Wild Wheat card stock 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 ¼. Note: this paper will be covered up, so you could use another color.
Card Front: Cut from Softly Stippled print paper - 1 piece 1 X 5 ¼ and 1 piece 3 X 5 ¼. Attach the 1” piece to the far left side of the card mat. Attach the 3” piece to the right side of the card mat.
Cut 6” of Wild Wheat ribbon, attach the ribbon over the print pieces where the two print papers meet. Wrap the ribbon around to the back of the card mat. Attach the card front to the card base.
Use dies from Wild Ferns die set. Use the smallest label die to cut a label from Basic White. Use the middle size label die to cut a label from Wild Wheat. Stamp the small white label with sentiment from the Wild Ferns stamp set using Wild Wheat ink. Attach the stamped white label to the Wild Wheat label with Stampin Dimensionals. Attach both labels to the card front.
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4 (5 ¼). Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
Envelope Flap: Cut print paper 2 ¼ X 6. Glue the print paper to the envelope flap and trim using the flap as a guide.
