Snowflakes in Balmy Blue

Snowfall

I am loving the Snowflake Showcase which is available for a limited time from Stampin' Up! It is filled with snowflake thinlits, I choose 3 for this card. Balmy Blue is my favorite winter blue. This would be a great Christmas card, but it would work equally well for a winter birthday card.

Card Base: Cut Balmy Blue 8 ½ X 11 paper in half lengthwise. You now have two pieces 4 ¼ X 11. Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Front: Cut Balmy Blue paper 4 X 5 1/4

Emboss card front with softly falling embossing folder.

Cut 5" silver metallic ribbon, attach to bottom of embossed card front. I used tear & tape to attach wrapping ribbon around the back of the card front. Tear & Tape is my favorite way to attach ribbon to my card.

Adhere card front to folded card base.

Die cut largest snowflake and one of the smallest snowflakes from silver foil. Cut snowflake that fits in the center of largest snowflake from silver glimmer paper.

Adhere silver glimmer snowflake to center of large silver snowflake. Attach large snowflake to card front with dimensionals.

Adhere small foil snowflake to ribbon.
