Scottie Deckle Edge card

How cute is this Scottie dog? Paired with the Gingham Cottage paper it makes a fun card.

Card Base: Cut Basic Black 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Use the Deckled Rectangles dies to cut a basic white mat (I used the die that measures 3 ¾ X 5). Use the Deckled Rectangles dies to cut the Gingham Cottage paper (I used the die that measures 3 ¼ X 4 ¾.). Attach the Gingham Cottage piece to the white piece. Attach these two pieces to the black card base.

Card Front: Use the Deckled Rectangles dies to cut a basic white card front (I used the die that measures 2 ¼ X3 ½). Stamp the sentiment with black ink on the bottom of this white die cut piece. Punch a Scottie from Black & White paper pack. Punch a bow from Calypso Coral paper.

Attach the punched Scottie shape above the stamped sentiment. Attach bow to Scottie dog. Add a black Classic Matt dot to the bow. Attach this white Deckle piece to the card front with dimensionals.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
