One Horse Open Sleigh Sympathy card

The beautiful One Horse Open Sleigh paper pack is not just for Christmas cards. I used a piece for a sympathy card.

Card Base: Cut Night of Navy 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Boho Blue paper 4 X 5 ¼. Emboss the Boho Blue card mat with Basics - Cross Hatch embossing folder. Attach the embossed card mat to the Navy card base.

Card Front: Cut Lemon Lolly 3 ⅜ X 4 5/8.

Use print paper from One Horse Open Sleigh paper pack
Cut a piece of 2 ¼ X 6 from top of the paper (tree section) set aside for your envelope flap.
Cut a piece ½ X 6 from the bottom of the paper, set aside for the card insert.
Your remaining piece will be 3 ¼ X 6, cut this piece to 3 ¼ X 4 ½ for the card front.

Attach the 3 ¼ X 4 ½ to the Lemon Lolly card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Attach these pieces to the embossed card mat.

Die cut the smallest label in the Wonderful Thoughts Dies set from Basic White. Stamp sentiment from Botanical Layers in Night of Navy ink. Attach stamped label to the right corner of the print paper card front.

Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Attach the ½ strip you cut from print paper to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from Something Fancy with Night of Navy ink before attaching this piece inside your card.
