Lovely In Linen Birthday card

The Lovely In Linen print paper is a great paper to use with this technique of adding print paper to a stamped circle.

Card Base: Cut Evening Evergreen 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Soft Succulent paper 4 X 5 ¼. Use a circle die with a circumference of 2 ⅛ from the Stylish Shapes dies to cut a circle from the center of the Soft Succulent mat. Set aside this circle for the card front.

Card Front: Cut Evening Evergreen print paper from Lovely In Linen paper pack 3 ⅞ X 5 ⅛. From this print paper you also need two pieces ⅝ X 2 ½ and one piece ½ X 4.

Attach the print card front to the Soft Succulent card mat. Attach these to the Evening Evergreen card base.

Cut a piece of Basic White 2 X 2 ½. Stamp the Happy Birthday with Evening Evergreen ink in the center of this Basic White piece. Attach the ⅝ width pieces above and below the stamped Happy Birthday. Die cut this piece with a stitched circle with a circumference of 1 ¾ from the Stylish Shapes dies.

Attach this circle to the Soft Succulent circle with Stampin Dimensionals. Attach both circle to the card front.

Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Attach the ½ X 4 piece of print paper to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
