Hydrangea Haven has some beautiful sentiments. I paired the Hydrangea dies with papers from Sweet Symmetry. I made this for a Mother’s Day card, but the sentiment on the front and the inside works beautifully for a birthday card also.

Card Base: Cut Just Jade 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Just Jade print in the Sweet Symmetry paper pack 4 X 5 ¼. Attach card mat to the jade card base.

Card Front: Use the largest die rectangular shaped scallop die in the Stitched So Sweetly dies to cut a scalloped rectangle from Basic White. Use Flirty Flamingo to stamp sentiment from Hydrangea Haven stamp set in the lower right corner of the die cut scalloped rectangle.

Cut a 2 X 2 ¾ piece of the same Just Jade print from the Sweet Symmetry paper pack used on the card front. Cut a piece of Flirty Flamingo print paper also in the Sweet Symmetry paper pack. Attach an adhesive sheet to the back of each of these print papers. Use the dies in the Hydrangea Dies to cut a Hydrangea flower from the Flirty Flamingo piece and leaves and stem from the Just Jade piece. Remove the backing from the leaves & stem, attach to the stamped white scallop rectangular. Remove the backing from the Flirty Flamingo flower, attach to white scallop rectangular at the top of the stem.

Attach the stamped scallop rectangle to the card front with stampin dimensionals. Add three Iridescent Rhinestones to the card front.
