I love the Hues of Happiness paper pack. It does all the work in making beautiful cards. The papers are in a variety of colors, which allow you to make a variety of cards.

Card Base: Cut Crushed Curry 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Front: Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 ¼. Die cut this white card front with the Split card Textures die. Stamp birthday sentiment from Charming Sentiments stamp set in black ink in the lower right edge of the die cut white card front.

Cut Hues of Happiness paper (I chose one with bands of color including Crushed Curry to coordinate with the flowers I cut and the card base.) Attach this paper to the back of the stamped, die cut white card front with dimensionals. Attach these papers to the Crushed Curry card base.

I fussy cut two flowers from the Hues of Happiness paper pack. You could also cut the flowers with die from the Blossoming Happiness dies. Stamp leaves from the Happiness Abounds stamp set with black ink on green paper from the Hues of Happiness paper pack. I fussy cut the leaves, you could also cut the flowers with die from the Blossoming Happiness dies. Attach one leaf to each flower and attach flowers with leaves to the card front. Add three Matte Black dots to the card front.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
