Happy Birthday in Blushing Bride

Blushing bride birthday

The Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut paper is SO PRETTY, but I struggled to attach it easily to card fronts. This card uses the new Stitched Rectangle Framelit to hold that pretty paper in place. It is so much easier that way.

Card Base: Cut Blushing Bride 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Blushing Bride paper 4 X 5 1/4

Use a Rectangle Stitched Framelit ( I used the one that measure 2 3/4 X 4 1/8 on the outside), to cut an opening in the Card Mat.

Stamp your sentiment with Blushing Bride ink on scrap of Whisper White. Punch out sentiment with Classic Label Punch.

The Delightfully Detailed laser cut paper has two designs. I choose one of the piece from the page with the 6 rectangles. You could use any of the rectangles or you could cut a piece of the 12 X 12 paper that has an overall floral design.

Adhere Delightfully Detailed paper to back of card mat behind rectangular cut out. Adhere this card mat (Blushing Bride frame, Delightfully Detailed paper) background to card front.

Adhere rhinestones to Delightfully Detailed paper. Adhere punched out sentiment to card front.

Congratulations you have finished your pretty card.
