Guilted Autumn Birthday
When the paper is this pretty, you don’t need to add a lot to make a lovely card. Adding a strip of solid makes your sentiment stand out.
Card Base: Cut Mint Macaron 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front: From the Gilded Autumn paper pack cut Mint leaf paper 4 X 5 1/4
Cut a strip of Mint Macaron ¾ X 5. Cut a strip of Copper foil 1 X 5. Attach Mint Macaron strip to Copper Foil strip.
Attach Mint Macaron/Copper foil across the card front. I attached it 1 ¼ from bottom on left side and 1 ¼ from top on right side. Trim off excess from each side of the card front. Attach card front to card base.
Stamp sentiment on Whisper White paper with Soft Suede ink. Punch with the Classic Label punch. Attach to Mint banner on card front with dimensionals.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp your sentiment and attach a ½ X 4 strip to the top of the card insert. Attach this piece inside your card.
