The February 2024 Paper Pumpkin is all about Spring. The projects in the kit are great, but sometimes it is fun to make other things from the pieces in the kit. These are 3 additional cards you can make by mixing pieces from the kit with Stampin’ Up papers and die.

Alternate #1 - a book fold card
From the your kit:
cut 16” of Linen thread

Cut front of the bunny card so the bunny print is centered in a piece cut:
3 ¾ across
4 down

from the bunny card
cut a strip of gingham from the back of the bunny card ¾ X 4

Card Base:
Petal Pink 4 ¼ X 11, scored at 5 ½ & 6 ½
Fold on score lines

Card Front:
Cut Crumb Cake 4 X 4 ¼
Attach Crumb Cake to Bunny print cut from card in kit. Emboss with the Cane Weave embossing folder.

Attach the gingham strip to the front of the card centered in the 1” strip at the top of your card base.

wrap the linen thread around the 1” strip (with the linen thread going inside the card base) tying a bow on the card front over the gingham strip. Now add tear tape inside the card over the linen just above the 1” score line. Seal that 1” strip, this makes the spine of your book fold card.

Attach the embossed bunny print piece to the card front below the spine with dimensionals to the card front.

Card Insert:
Cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 4 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching it inside your card.
