Excellent Eggs Easter Card

I paired the Excellent Eggs bundle with the Lighter Than Air paper pack to create this fun Easter card. It comes together easily.

Card Base: Cut Lemon Lolly 8 ½ X 11 cardstock in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Front: Cut Lemon Lolly Cardstock 4 X 5 ¼. Use the Largest egg die in the Excellent Eggs die set to cut an egg shape from the Lemon Lolly card front. Emboss this card front with the Cane Weave embossing folder.

Cut dot paper from the Lighter Than Air paper 3 X 5. Attach Stampin’ Dimensionals around the egg shape opening on the back of the embossed card front. Attach the dot paper to the back of the card front on the Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a Stampin’ Dimensional to each corner of the card front. Attach the card front to the Lemon Lolly card base.

Use the largest label die in the Wild Ferns die set to cut a white label. Stamp the left side of this label with Easter greeting from Excellent Eggs stamp set with Pool Party ink.

Die cut a bunny from Soft Shimmer Speciality paper using the bunny die in the Excellent Eggs die set. Attach the bunny to the right side of the stamped white label with a Stampin’ Dimensional. Attach this label to the lower edge of the die cut egg opening.

Add 3 Rainbow Adhesive backed embellishments.

Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4 . Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp sentiment from Excellent Eggs with Pool Party ink before attaching this piece inside your card.
