Curvy Peony Garden Sympathy card

The Curvy dies takes this pretty Peony Garden paper to a new level. There are so many options for this style card, I chose to make a sympathy card.

Card Base: Cut Gray Granite 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: From Peony Garden paper pack cut Gray Granite chevron print paper 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: From Peony Garden paper pack cut Gray Granite & white floral paper 3 ½ X 5 ¼. Use a curvy die to cut a curve at the right length of the paper. Attach this piece to the chevron print card mat ½” from Left side of the chevron card mat.

Cut 6” of Gray Granite Shimmer ribbon. Attach over card front ½” from left side of mat, over the flat length of floral paper, wrap to back of card mat paper. I used tear & tape to attach ribbon.

Attach card front/card mat to card base.

Stamp sentiment on Whisper White paper with Gray Granite ink. Punch stamped sentiment with Label Me Fancy Punch. Punch a scrap of Gray Granite paper with Everyday Label Punch. Attach Gray Granite punched piece to card front. Attach stamped white piece over Gray Granite piece with dimensionals.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
