Copper Leaf

Copper leaf

This is a card I made for a member of my Demo team who has progressed to the next level in her Stampin' Up! business. Hew new level is Bronze Elite, so I wanted to use a metallic foil on her card. This card would also be a great sympathy card, a birthday card, or a Thanksgivng card.

Card Base: Cut Very Vanilla 8 ½ X 11 paper in half lengthwise. You now have two pieces 4 ¼ X 11. Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Copper Foil 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: Cut Very Vanilla 3 7/8 X 5 1/8

To add some dimension to the trees in the Woodland embossing folder, lightly add soft suede ink with sponge dauber inside tree indent on the front side (the side with writing), then emboss Very Vanilla card front.

Adhere copper foil mat to card base. Adhere embossed card front to copper foil mat.

Cut leaf with detail leaves thinlit from copper foil. I used just a bit of multipurpose glue on the back of the leaf to attach leaf to card front.
