Bunny & Kite card
I love when the papers do all the work. I am using this fun card for a birthday card. It would also be a great Easter card.
Card Base: Cut Balmy Blue 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 ¼.
Card Front: Use the Deckle Rectangle Dies to cut a piece 3 ¾ X 5 from Mango Melody. Use the Playing In The Rain dies to cut the kite piece from the center of the Mango Melody Deckle Rectangle.
Use the next smallest Deckle Rectangle Die to cut the flower/sky background from the Rain or Shine paper pack. I cut this piece from the center of the paper. I used the pieces from top and bottom to cut other pieces for the card..
From the top or bottom pieces use the check on the other side to cut the kite insert piece, a strip for the card insert ½ X 4, and the envelope flap 2 ¼ X 6.
Use the Playing In The Rain dies to cut a rabbit from the Rain or Shine paper pack. Attach the check kite piece to the Mango Melody kite.
Attach the flower/sky Deckle Rectangle to the Mango Melody Deckle Rectangle then attach these pieces to the white card mat. Attach all pieces to the Balmy Blue card base.
Attach the string end of the kite to the back of the banny. Attach the kite and bunny to the card front with dimensionals.
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
Envelope Flap: Cut print paper 2 ¼ X 6. Glue the print paper to the envelope flap and trim using the flap as a guide.
