This card is a great way to start a new year and would work equally well for a birthday card.
Card Base: Cut Night of Navy 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front: Cut print paper from Abstract Beauty 4 X 5 ¼ . Emboss this piece with the Hammered Metal embossing folder. Attach this embossed piece to the Night of Navy card base.
Die cut from Basic White cardstock the oval piece from the Beautiful Shapes dies. Stamp sentiment with Night of Navy ink on the die cut oval piece.
Attach stamped oval piece with dimensionals to the card front. Add gold metallic pearls.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
