Adorable Owls Birthday Card

Adorable Owls is a one of the choices for free product Sale-A-Bration 2023. I paired it with paper from Happy Forest Friends

Card Base: Cut Old Olive 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Calypso Coral paper 4 X 5 ¼. Die cut a circle from Layering Circles Dies that is 2 ⅝ in diameter.

Card Front: Cut Basic White 4 X 5 ¼ to serve as base for layering the card front pieces. From the Happy Forest Friends paper pack: cut tree print paper 3 ½ long x 4 wide, cut green circle print 1 ¼ X 4, cut coral print ½ X 4. Attach tree print paper to top of the Basic White. Attach the coral strip below the tree print. Attach the green circle paper below the coral strip. Trim the white card base to 3 ⅞ X 5 ⅛. Attach this piece to the Calypso Coral card mat.

Cut a circle that is 2 ½ in diameter from Basic White using Stylish Shapes dies. Stamp owl from Adorable Owls stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Color the owl with Blends (Light Soft Suede, Dark Crumb Cake, Light Calypso Coral, Light & Dark Pool Party, Light & Dark Daffodil Delight). I added Wink of Stella to the eye of the owl. Attach the white circle with colored owl to the Calypso Coral circle. Attach circle to card front. Add 3 Pool Party embellishments from Solid Faceted Gems.
